The Closet Rig

In 2016, shortly before the time I consider my 'Dark Room' days, I lived in this apartment with a roommate and we had this closet in the living room that didn't really have a practical use, so I decided to put this really small desk we had in there with a computer.

Here is a closeup so you can see the specs in this weak and easily overheated machine. I had it hooked up via a VGA 2 S-Video adapter to this massive projection screen TV we were given for free (no one would willingly pay for a projection screen.. right?).

I figured that it would serve as some what awful, but usable, media center in the living room, in addition to our VHS player, over the air public access receiver and CED player.

This didn't really end up panning out though, because shortly after we had a friend who needed tp crash at our place for a while trying to get out of a bad situation, so I let them use this closet as their personal space for their computer, since the apartment hadn't any extra rooms and was already pretty cramped. I'm certain it was miserable, but it was better than nothing I suppose.

I recorded this video for them to just let them know what they were getting into.
